I love this build. Color reminds me of Dark Shadow Gray that my Mustang had (Cobras and Lightnings came in DSG too IIRC). Subbed cause I'm thinking of supercharging my ride and will most likely be asking questions. Are you running the stock F150 cams with the SC? Are you planning on running it on e85 or 91+? They don't have to pull the motor for the install right? What type of numbers are you expecting with that first gen Coyote? Like 500+rwhp?

1. I will be upgrading to 2011-14 Mustang intake cam and Boss exhaust cam. You can get the set of 4 cams from MMR for $600. Swapping cams mostly because I will be upgrading the oil pump gears to billet and figured might as well, since to get to the oil pump you have tear down all the timing chains, so you've pretty much done 3/4 of the cam swap work anyway. I will also refurb the timing chains at same time with Ford kit that upgrade the chain tensioners to Boss units as well. This will allow 7,500 rpm redline easily. Boss valve springs will also be swapped in. They're really cheap and good for higher rpm and boost - None of this is must do for a blower install unless you want to push things up a notch like I do.

2. 93 octane tune for me. E85 is not readily available around here. I think there is 1 gas station within 100 miles of Memphis that sells E85. I will be running Water/Meth injection though to help with higher boost levels.

3. You do not have to pull the engine for the install. Just have to "massage" the firewall with a hammer a little bit in one spot to help with clearance when the motor torques over under load.

4. First Gen F150 coyote will usually make 500-520rwhp on 9-10psi and stock cams and stock exhaust.
With my mods of Mustang cams, higher rpm redline, 13-14psi boost, water/meth injection, and possible long tube headers (on the fence with the headers still) I should see upwards of 600rwhp

Tons of great info. Really do appreciate it. Smart taking care of that timing chain too. I'm going to have to look into that. I've only got a light tick when cold at the moment though. 500+rwhp would be great. I was kind of bummed when I learned the Coyotes in the early F150s are barely pushing 300hp. Lol.
