New to the F150 Forum

Thought i would start a build thread, Hoping to get some advice along the way.







Here is the new project truck, bought it for 4k about 5 months ago. It's on its second motor and newly rebuilt trans. (thats why i got it for 4k )




Bought some rims and tires for it and put a 2.5" spacer in the front.



Didn't really like the black rims and got a good deal on 5 walker evan rims.









Then the fun started, dropped it off at a friends shop to start on the Front and Rear Long travel.





Ordered up some King Coilovers, bypasses and bump stops for the front and some King 3.0 triple bypasses and bump stops for the rear.

 

And this is how it sits as of tuesday,

 

This is my old jeep that i sold to start on this project, I wanted something that i could drive around and not have to tow everywhere.

 

Sub'd.

Looks like a good start!

 

Got the Rims powdercoated and a few updates on the truck,

And a Solid Works drawing of my lower arms, everything has been sent to get water cut and should be back at the shop ready to start welding next week.

Started cutting a hole on my tailgate for the flush mount amber light.

 

Here are a few pics of a chevy Real fab just finished up, my kit will be pretty much the same thing but +6 and the lower arms will be pocketed.
