you knocked .33 off your 1/8 and .21 was on the 60'. Im not sure how it plays out in the 1/8 but rule of thumb in the 1/4 is .1 on the 60' is worth about 1.5 in the quarter.

keep in mind temp isnt the only factor - humidity, barometric pressure etc also matter

you launched in 4 high so I assume you werent spinning the first night out?

I just really dont know...there could be other factors at play as well that we arent aware of, I know on the Ford supercharged vehicles when intake temps post intercooler are too high it retards timing etc... and that timing can really hurt getting a big truck out of the hole.

not saying the exhaust couldnt help but IF you werent spinning off the line the first night out (Ive never understood it but somehow spinning of the line can inflate MPH so if you went from spinning to hooking it could explain what appears to be a lack of jump in mph) its hard to see how the exhaust gains enough power to knock that much time off your 60' yet your trap is basically the same.

Possibly. I'm betting on better launch and traction like Joewee3.5 said.

Would the effect of an aftermarket exhaust be more prevalent for the Eco vs. 5.0? I know adding an exhaust to a truck with just bolt ons won't do much of anything.

Gains are negligible for both but I'd give a slight nod to the Eco. Having that little extra flow may have helped my turbos to spool a tad bit sooner.

So anyone that wants a 1/2 second improvement in the 1/8 really only needs a resonator delete or a 3" resonator in place of the factory unit. No need to spend the extra cash on the Full Race set up unless its for sound. Just saying...factory is 3" and so is full race. Sounds like the OP is happy. Congrats.

turbo charged engines will always benefit from an exhaust upgrade more than a naturally aspirated counterpart. the fact that the stock exhaust is only 2.5" diameter is why there are such huge gains on these EB trucks

incorrect, the factory exhaust is 2.5" for the resonator, flex section, muffler, and ball-snout flange

But most of the piping is 3". $200 for muffler and piping will effectively do what any 3" aftermarket exhaust will. That's all I'm saying.

^^i dont think its that easy, but i not going to argue... the ball snout flange is a major obstacle if you dont like to hear farty exhaust leaks

Seems to be those out here hell bent on posting comments against the Full Race exhaust and any possible gains it might have. People who actually own the exhaust post their impressions and then those who don't come posting to disprove their findings or impressions. Just kinda gets old!
