WOW - FR 3" Exhaust knocked almost 1/2 second off my 1/8 mi time!
Best 1/8 mile run before FR exhaust:
Reaction - +.2313
60 ft - 2.2379
330 ft - 6.2653
1/8 ET - 9.6163
1/8 MPH - 72.95
Best 1/8 mile run after FR exhaust (only change)
Reaction - +.6770
60 ft - 2.0270
330 ft - 5.9506
1/8 ET - 9.2836
1/8 MPH - 73.07
Interesting that the MPH didn't change much, but took off much faster (quicker 60 ft and 1/8 ET times) I attribute to the increase in low end torque from the FR exhaust. I'm couldn't be more happy with such a simple change!

Let me throw this out there. My current setup is stock cats/dp with full race exhaust. My mph was almost the same as when I was running high flow cats/dp with full race exhaust. I have the slips to prove it if anyone wants to see them. My opinion is the stock cats/dp with the full race exhaust is a good set up.

congrats on the improvement but again too many variables to know whats truly responsible here.
the 60', DA and the exhaust all play into it. I havent had my truck at the track but just playing on the streets and foot braking it seems to me these trucks have plenty of power to cut a 2.0 60' stock. My Lightning would cut easy 2.0 60s on street tires and well into the 1.80s on crappy 555Rs so Ive got a pretty good idea of what those kinda launches feel like

I would attribute the improved 60 ft time on the increase in torque at the low end with the new exhaust.
Actually, I launched the same as before. ~2K RPM's in 4WD. Every run I did the first date on stock exhaust was in the 9.6 range. Every run I did on the second date was in the 9.2-9.4 range. Too much evidence to be coincidence in my opinion. I think the undisputed numbers are the back-to-back dyno results on the FR website. How could that NOT equate to better 60 ft times assuming you have 4x4 available to take advantage of the increase in torque?
