Iphone can't use bluetooth to communicate like the Android phones can. You have to use a wireless OBD2 setup. The Kiwi Wifi unit is about 125-150 bucks and the apps are 30-50 bucks depending on which one you think is best. Unfortunately it's nowhere near as easy or cheap as the Android phones are to do the same thing.

Any more ideas, folks? I've been trying to concentrate on my vent for the last few days while driving, and I can't help but think it's not a sufficient spot. The right side is blocked by the steering wheel from my seating position

I'm waiting on Ford to update the ECm so we can use the guage mode on our 4.2" LCD screens in the dash. They recently updated the mustang with it and u can get a bunch of obd2 signals as guages on it.

I agree with you both; I want the gauge on the center display and feel the vent isn't a good location. I have the gauge on order, but I'm second guessing myself because I don't want to tap into my trucks wiring. I wish there was a really clean, modern way to accomplish this.

Depending which kind of gauge you choose, you may only need to tap into one wire. I have an autometer mechanical boost/vacuum gauge and I only had to tap into one wire for the parking lights. The gauge will work fine without tapping into any wires but it won't light up at night if you don't tap into a wire.

Well, I went ahead and ordered Roush's vent pod and their boost gauge as well. Hopefully it works out well!

I mean no offense, but, I feel like that just looks unfinished. The bolt sticking out and the fact that that doesn't replace the entire a-pillar just doesn't match up with the rest of the interior, in my opinion.

Not to mention having to drill a hole in the a-pillar - at least with the Roush pod I can swap back to stock within a matter a minutes.

That is a really nice gauge though, I love Defi's stuff!

Yeah I didnt want to lose my AC vent living down here in Houston...Plus I wanted the gauge up high where I could easily see it when racing or towing. I am not 100% happy with my gauge pillar pod either, especially considering I made it out of a universal one. As soon as Fastland releases their pillar pod, I will be getting it.
