On the tow truck again

On the tow truck again
I have the Eco boost engine with 8,000 miles The second day I had my truck I had to get I towed for the transmission leak. Now today like many of you I was accelerating and the engine light started to blink and the engine started to stutter and vibrate when I tried to give it a little gas. So now it's on the back of a tow truck heading back to the dealership. I'm sure they will have it for some time again. I know some of you have had this issue. What caused it?

To be fair, your first tow had nothing to do with the engine and is an issue with all the F150's. But I have been holding off on buying a truck now for months waiting for Ford to work out the bugs and unfortunately they haven't. At one time I was 100% sold on the Eco, and now I am leaning more torwards the 5.0. The tranny issues are another story though.

If you get a 335i it'll be a trade down. Just came from one and was more than happy to get rid of it. All I can tell you is if you want the 335 or any DI twin turbo motor from BMW get an extended warranty.

Me too! I love my 5.0... However, i talked to a guy today that had an FX4 with the EB and he said he hasn't had any problems yet. Guess he's one of the lucky one's.
