Power Loss and CEL

Ok now what to do? After 5 days and about 500 miles, the CEL light (P0430) is gone. Do I still take it in? I know the code should be stored in memory but if there is no apparent Check engine light currently on, will they do anything about it? Probably call and ask tomorrow.

They replaced a cat on my truck and since then it has been just fine, doing what I bought it to do.
I think a 1rst year platform can always be a gamble. I decided to take the gamble, along with Ford.
I will say this: There are some things that Ford should look at as there are folks reporting basically the same 1 or 2 issues. Am I ready to abandon the Eco-Boost platform? No. I have a 1 year lemon law and 3/5 year basic warranty to find the gremlins. I will probably move to a new truck by then due to mileage any way.
I will say that that despite the powertrain issue, my first Ford product has made me a Ford fan regardless. Even if the powertrain turns out to be a bad choice, I will still consider Ford products as an option for the future.
And after 9 years of V8 and Diesel roaring and grumbling, the turbo whistle still makes me grin.

Try the old calibrate the accelerator to the throttle body open position by turning on the key, not starting the engine, flooring the pedal and letting it up quickly. Shutting off the key and repeating the process. This recallibrates the accelerator with the ECM. The 11 has a different air system than the 12. Hopefully the 12 with the Maf will work better.
