October Incentives
#12
I called the Gen. Manager yesterday at my dealership where I ordered my truck and he told me that in addition to the $2,000 customer cash and $1,000 ford financing credit -The new incentive I did not have with the Sept. incentives was he could now add the additional $1,000 trade-in assistance on top of that since I am doing a trade-in,,, saweeet! Oh, they have, like others have mentioned, added the -0-% financing for 60 months, but, if you take that, your rebate goes down to $1,000 - as I understand it.

I picked my truck up last week with $4750 in rebates.
$2000 + $1000 financing through ford + $1000 trade assist + $750 for requesting a brochure online. I brought the truck back today to pickup my registration and they told me the rebates did not change.

I am looking to purchase a 2011 FX4 SCrew and was wondering if anyone has heard of this rebate. I have seen a rebate posted on a few sites as well as on the Ford.com site under incentives when you pull down the f-150 5.0 it says there is an additional $500.
Does that mean that if you purchase a FX4 w/ the 5.0L you get an additional $500 off?
I went to my local dealer but they had no idea about what I was even talking about. And since I can get X-Plan pricing through my employer they told me that half the rebates I was looking at didn't apply as I was getting the truck wholesale.
Funny thing is I called Ford Customer Service before I went to dealer to see about all the rebates I found on line and if they would apply. they told me to contact my dealer as they would know better. Apparently not. And the guy on the other end of the customer service phone at Ford was just reading me the rebates off of the ford.com site...
And to top it off I asked how I could get the extra $750 coupon off and the dealer had no idea. He looked in his computer and said you don't have one...

Find you another dealer! If they told you half the rebates don't apply because you are buying it at wholesale they are FOS. The rebates have nothing to do with x-plan pricing and should be tacked on with the x-plan. Also the 750 coupon is through the brochure. It is sometimes sent with the brochure from ford. I'm unsure about the extra 500 for the 5.0 engine. However you should be able to look it up on ford website. Hope this helps some!

Not sure what offers are available elsewhere, but with Ford-Southern, the total rebate is $6250 - providing you get the XLT 3.7 with a trade, have the $750 coupon, and finance with Ford.
$2,000
Retail Customer Cash 1
AND
$1,000
Ford Credit Retail Bonus Customer Cash
XLT = $1000
3.7 =$500
Trade =$1000
Ford Coupon =$750
If you ride a horse, are a law enforcer, military or have a college degree - you get $500 additional each.

In the northeast there is a rebate of $500 on 5.0 and I believe 3.7, but not on the Ecoboost. I did get that, plus the $1000 trade assist and 0% for 60 months (or an additional $2000 customer cash and $1000 for ford financing, but not both, i took the financing for 0%). There was no XLT rebate I am aware of....but doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Dealers play games with rebates, and it wouldn't surprise me if I unknowingly missed a rebate that went to the dealer.....So I got X-plan with the $1000 trade assist, $500 for the 5.0 and 0% for 60 months, no payment for 90 days. I consider that I got a decent deal, certainly some have done better, but I also got $26K for a 2007 Sequoia that I would have been lucky to sell for $27-28 in this economy.

I'm in Houston, bought my fx2 5.0l extended cab. Back up sensors, power pedals sync and what nots. 2 weeks ago. I got almost 10k off. $6500 off from ford. $3000 from the dealership and talked ford down to 3.9%. I think I tore them up. Lol

MORE TIPs!
Most dealers will take an invoice deal as they still make 2% holdback based on the retail MSRP and also on the dealer fee.
They also have about a 60% markup on the addendum, (add ons). One of the reasons, I do business with my dealer (Bozard Ford in St Augustine) is because they don't deal in this deceptive practice of artificially inflating the window sticker price.
Another way to save money is that you can get the F&I rep to buy down that "special interest rate", by using some of the profits from ESP, GAP and other programs. I got mine down from 6.9 to 3.89.
And lastly, the dealer will sandbag your trade value. Playing hardball may get you substantially more for your trade. By all means find something to trade in, to get the $1000 trade rebate. It just has to be at least a"95" or newer registered in your name. Pick up a 95 clapped out Cavalier for $200 if you have to. Then the dealer will give you $100 trade, save dramatically on the tag transfer, save a few bucks on trade difference taxes, and get the grand rebate.

I tried with the plan and the current offers an It was about $800 more with the xplan. Made them give me $1500 more than they wanted for my trade it. I worked with 5 dealerships and made each one price match and beat by $500 until I settled at what I wanted. It was super frustrating but it worked.
