October Incentives
Hello, long time reader of the forum but first post. I am currently looking at an '11 FX4 Screw EcoBoost at my local dealership. One of the salesman that I have been dealing with mentioned that the current incentives on the F-150 expire 10-03-11 and also said that it is possible for them to just expire and therefore the rebates not being available at all (I have a feeling that was just to get me to buy before this coming Monday). I was curious though if anyone knows or has heard if the rebates will still be there come 10-04-11 and also if there is a chance they will be increasing at all? Any info is greatly appreciated.

If 2012's start showing up they should be dealing to get the 2011's gone. That is the standard line they give to everyone, "Buy now you might regret it." Its basic marketing.
Have him work up an offer to you and see what you could get it for, then tell them you will consider it.

It's not a trick, the current rebates are set to expire 10/3 2011 . They also can change from day to day. Rebates may get a little better but probably won't get crazy because there are no major changes from 2011 to 2012. Selection will slim down quick though and they will keep rebates on the 12's low until must 11's are gone.

better looking than geno
Normally new sets of rebates come at the beginning if the month, and supposedly the dealer won't know until when they come what they are. Could be less, but history says otherwise.

They change on the 4th of every month, Most dealers don't know unless they know someone upstairs. Like wayyy upstairs. I'm guessing they'll stay the same in October and go up maybe $500 or $1000 in November/December, you never know though.
Here lately they have been dragging rebates on the newest year model instead of putting monstrous rebates on the ones they are pushing out. Which will over all help our trucks hold their value better.

I'm taking delivery on mine today. It came in yesterday. The incentives stayed the same according to my dealer. $2000 in rebate, $1000 for financing with Ford Credit so a total of $3750 with my brochure coupon.

You may be able to get the $1000 Trade Asssit to, not sure if it available in all areas....I got the $1000 Trade Assist, $500 for the 5.0 (I guess 3.7 too, but not EB) and the 0% for 60 months, no payment for 90 days. I could have gotten an additional $2000 cash in lieu of 0%, and then financed locally, and actually it was a draw on the monthly payment. I liked the no payment for 90 days as the car payment that "went away" with the trade will almost pay for my cap....
