My truck won't even think of breaking the tires free either, even chipped it may only spin on loose surfaces after rolling. However, I beat my friends XLT same body style by about a truck length and he has 3.73s.

Just out of idle curiosity what "chip" did you have in your ecoboost truck and how was it installed and removed.

If youre peeling from a 15 mph roll then please take your truck to the track. If you're talking about peeling on slick parking garage concrete then I'd beleve it. I'm in the same boat as most, mine will chirp or wheel hop on most surfaces. Occasionally I might get a 2 sec peel on some surfaces. Mine hasn't had an update and I've got 15k miles.

If Ford was trying to remedy the "shudder" which could be cues by a weak TC...lowering power output thru torque management would do that...

I think the area and pavement has alot to do with it. My 06 jetta tdi auto would lay rubber in Vegas but wouldn't dream of it at home in Alberta. I also find areas that sand the roads have rougher pavement with more traction.

I'd like to see a quick video of any Ecoboost f150 laying rubber from a rolling start.
