Very disappointed in this forum and its mods. I realize this is a business to the owners, but to publically throw one of your own under the bus is a terrible precedent to start. It is pretty obvious that outside forces (not AR15.com) have played a role in this. Mod, pm has been sent.

I've had a few PM's regarding this. I don't know what you've been offered aside from ford reps (watching all of these threads) that there has been more offers to you that you've elected not to share or accept. They're maintaining privacy and for us (the forum) maintaining transparency, this thread will remain open. Ask away, just keep it civil.

You guys really need to ease off on the conspiracy theories.
The 1st amendment thing also cracks me up. If you think a mod/admin deleting your thread is violating your 1st amendment...I'm afraid that you have the power to vote in an election.

I've racked my brain here. Are you talking about the offer to tow my truck home from dealer 2?
Basically ford offered to tow my truck home. They dumped it in the service managers hands. He called me an said he had no idea how to go about this. He said he could have a big rig tow it but that only happens once a month. He asked if I knew anybody that could tow my truck home. I told him I'd look around. (In my head now I'm doing this guys work). He said he could authorize up to 1000 dollars to a tow company if I could provide an invoice.
In the end I drove to the dealer from my job site after hours in the Edge with a coworker. I picked up my truck and drove back to work. Coworker took edge to airport 3 hours away left it there and got on a plane. A friend of mine that works in the area drove to airport in his truck. Picked up edge and drove it to his house. He left his truck at the airport and when he went back to work he flew in and picked up his truck. When I got home from work I drove 2.5 hours to his house and picked up edge.
Keep in mind with that story I'm 10-12 hours away from home when I'm at work.
I have no means to provide an invoice to the dealer. I don't have the means to call around looking for a tow truck to take my truck 1200 kms for 1000 bucks.
Is that what I was offered?

You don't think it's a little odd that Lenn gets "more info" from a Ford employee and closes the thread without even asking Ghost about it or giving him the benefit of the doubt?
I guess if Ford says something it MUST be true.
