I'm guessing that the site management got paid off or threatened. Take your pick!

Yup. I would imagine that Ford owns this site and didn't like the bad publicity. This is the last of their worries. There are many many other sites that they don't have control of. The web is a very very big place.

"This site is in no way affiliated with the Ford Motor Company" It says that at the bottom of each page.

A thread closing explanation wouldn't hurt there's a lot of popcorn being made and attention on this thread.

No mod pm or anything.

Also I didn't ask for it to be closed.

Maybe a thread clean up?

My guess would be because of the Ashley bashing at the end. It was uncalled for especially by those that were joining the forum just to do it.

I still think your situation stinks Ghost. Don't get me wrong, I still think my Ford truck is better than any of what the competition has to offer, but you got the shaft with Ford's customer unservice.

Even that was pretty restrained Al. Usually there is a warning given before the lock hammer comes down.

I am guessing FORD is paying some lawyers to throw their weight around instead of taking care of Ghost! What shame when a company that is making obscene profits doesnt step up to the plate and stand behind their work! This could be anyone of us, FORD get your head out and send this guy a Brand NEW TRUCK already. How many more lost sales are you willing to for go over this lemon?
