Full Race has actually verified this. In fact, Jeff says that the Ford box has plenty of volume to support more power than most of us will ever get the chance to make.

Here's a pic of my aFe cai and my engine cover that I painted this weekend.
I feel no gain in hp but I hear the turbo's better and it looks cool!



I do think if there was any gain in hp, this cai would do it since it gives a separate tube for each turbo. Very nice piece.

You would only see a gain if in fact the factory intake tube wasn't flowing enough air to supply both turbos. There is nothing to be gained by giving each turbo its own individual supply tube, particularly since they end up necking down to the factory plumbing.

I think Geno said that they tested his afe and saw a gain (I dunno how big or small). I would still like to see a set-up that was equal in length and diameter, mirror imaged to both turbos. Larger piping to the turbo inlet and then necked down right before it.

There is litterally almost no room to do this though. I've seen a few dyno's that show a very small gain, but the power band was moved up...I prefer my lowend and quicker spool.
