I got mine direct from AFE $386, thought it was a good deal. The only thing i can say is that 5 business days later i had it on my door step. I was told that they only had 2 left to put on the side and that was over a week ago.

I guess what i am saying is all you guys who ordered it elsewhere for a cheaper price let us know how fast yall receive the item then we will know if we really got screwed for ordering it direct.

Sorry guys i also got the Clean and Restore kit threw Jason in this price. I had no trouble dealing with either one of these guys.

Ya I guess who knows, but I ordered from them direct shortly after you and my price is way diff then yours. Seems like they are just making prices up across the board. I also have 2 Private messages from two member here that paid about $100 less then you and ordered at the same time as you? Direct just as you did.

I got your email and have responded to that as well. Sorry you feel you got "screwed" from aFe. The deal I offered this group was $386.10 with a free filter cleaning kit and free restore kit. Our normal recommended retail price is around $429 for this intake. aFe does sell to wholesale accounts and some of them make deals and promotions on their own. If you can get this intake at a better price, that is great. I would argue my "deal" is a good value and I specifically held inventory for this group since we have been open about our hurdle in filling the major demand we had. My original offer to help take care of the members here that have orders outstanding with other vendors still stands. I have had 2 members contact me and I have put there freebies in the system and they should see them soon. If you wish to cancel your order and purchase from someone else, that is great but you may want to verify they have inventory so you don't end up waiting longer than you want. Thanks, jason

Well I emailed him back and got no responses because he went on vacation and when he emailed me on Wednesday he said I should have a tracking number the next day. Still haven't heard back. Now I find intakes for less online when we should be getting"special pricing?" I am disappointed. If they ran out, then just tell me.
Jakeman68, can you do me a favor and email me with the name you used on your order and I will check status. I have been informed all of my forum orders have been shipped. I will track it and respond back to you asap. Thanks, Jason

I have about 2300 miles on my truck so my seat time is not as good as other on this board. I noticed no additional increase in noise other than at heavy throttle (which is a plus). Part throttle performance feels about the same but the sucking noise under load tells me air is comming in easier. Honestly, (this is only my opinion) is that off idle there is a slight hesitation now that didnt seem to be there before. Maybe its just me. But other than off idle it does feel more responsive, especially in the 3500+ rpm range. Overall I am very pleased with it and would recommend the purchase. Today I received my SCT tune and installed but that feedback will be on the other thread. Again, I cant say enought about the AFE service, was well above what the norm is.
Thanks Diablotruck. I am glad you had a good experience. Let me know if you need anything further. Jason

It was easier to install than the OEM brake controller (I have a FX4 lux pkg with the center console). I have previously installed the Solo 4" Mach 46 kit but that is my only performance mod so far. I have ordered the SCT tuner so I'll let you guys know how it all works together after I get it installed next week.

I have to say I'm really enjoying the the stage 2 (I chose the dry filters) kit so far. Sound is just like what others have experienced, normal driving maybe a little louder than stock, but when you lean on the gas you can really hear the turbos come to life. But even at it loudest it is not over the top or obnoxious! Just right in my opinion!

It does seem more responsive under normal driving as well as part throttle to WOT. I've noticed the biggest improvement in throttle response at about 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. My butt-o-meter can't tell you I picked up x amount of power but it does seem to pull smoother and maybe a little stronger. Then again it may be just the sweet sound of the turbos making me think it's pulling better . I've only put about 200 miles on it so far but I think it was money well spent! I'll chime back in after a few more miles and let you guys know how it's doing.
Thanks for your support extech. I am glad you had a good experience. Let me know if you need anything further. Jason

Damn dude...I thought i did a thorough search but obviously not. I am happy with the price I got on autoanything but it would have been nice to have gotten a little better deal. Good info man...thanks! Autoanything does have a low price guarantee for up to a year so they should adjust my price based on this info.

Jason just wanted to say I think its cool your on here addressing issues head on. I think there is something to be said about AFE as a company in terms of customer care and concern for a quality product. All companies are going to have hiccups here and there the thing is are they willing to make it right. It seems AFE is striving to do the right thing. I did purchase my AFE stage 2 elsewhere for a lower price however they did not include the extras that you did. So overall I think you are offering the members here a good value. I purchased from Autoanything for $347 but that didn't include the cleaning kit or the restore kit. Due to the production delays and my purchase not being direct time will tell if I made a good decision depending on how quickly my product is on the door step. I will keep everyone posted on the overall turn around time from purchase to delivery. Again thanks for taking the time to reach out to your customer base on this forum.

I received your email and I responded, there is a lack of communication going no somewhere ? I was not told that I was getting a cleaning kit for the price I paid. Had I been told that I might not have been so unhappy. I was simply told that I was getting a special deal. Then found out that someone had bought it for much cheaper. ( this was the only reason I was upset finding out you may have over paid for something can be upsetting as you know )

With the added extras from the cleaning kit exc. That makes me feel like I am getting a good deal deal!! And I would like to continue on with the order. I would also like to say that Steven was a pleasure to speak to on the phone and has good customer service skills. There was just that lack of communication between us on all that I was getting.

Jason thank you for your prompt reply in resolving this matter

As I posted before, I received my stg2 AFE CAI this past Friday. I opened the box Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and looks of it. After seeing it, I had to go install it immediately. Installation was an absolute breeze and fitment was amazing! Me and my two boys took the truck out yesterday to run some errands and I had a chance to test out the performance difference of the AFE stg 2 CAI. OMG is all I can say! It changed a few things for the better and nothing for the worse...
1. Greatly reduced and almost completely eliminated my off idle hesitation that the eco is known for having.
2. My throttle response while driving increased and seemed to be sharper throughout the rpm's.
3. It seemed to give the truck a bit more light to part throttle power for passing and climbing hills, which coupled with my Livernois tune, the truck virtually never has to downshift to pass or climb hills.
4. And this one is HUGE...my mid range power and top end power increased SIGNIFICANTLY!!!! The AFE stg 2 and Livernois tune make for the PERFECT package!! I would tell some about some "tests" I ran on it, but I have already gotten busted for talking about supposed "street racing" on this forum once before, so I will just say that I tested my truck against some heavy competition (in Mexico ) and I remain undefeated!!

I am more than happy with the price, quality, and most of all the performance and customer service from AFE, Jason and Scott...Thank you VERY MUCH guys...I have no complaints at all and nothing but great things to say!! I am more than glad I waited for this to become available!

Cheers!
