6.2 Mileage
#13
I just took a a 3000 mile trip from Arkansas up to Iowa and then to up to Minnesota and back and averaged 17.4 mpg at 70-75 mph with a/c. On my 67 mile one way trip to work the other day I averaged 19.2 mpg traveling 64 mph without a/c. I am absolutely pleased with the mileage I am getting.

I have a 6.2l standard Lariat Screw with 18 inch wheels. On strictly trips I avg around the mid-17's when you are at highway speeds (65-75mph). My mixed driving at home with probably 20% city / 80% highway is at 15.5. I am pleasantly surprised that I am getting this good of gas mileage. I think the 18 inch wheels may help a bit, but either way, I love this truck.
4000 miles on mine so far and not one issue.
Things I love are the Sony Nav....didnt think much of it when I ordered it, but the Nav and the backup camera for towing my boat is great. Throw in a nice sounding stereo, I really think this option is worth it.

Trolling you
If I dont lead foot it (hard to do), I can get ~14 in the city and 16.5-17 on the highway. Not too horrible, I've seen as low as 11.86 (I have an app for tracking gas/expenses/etc), but that was having some fun too. lol
Not too bad for a big truck, big motor, and 22"s. I'd love better mileage, but I'd also like a few million dollars and Jay Leno's garage.
I typically dont let it get below half a tank though cause it just hurts too much to fill it from empty.
