I'm in Shreveport. Still a bit of a drive fr Longview. I can tell you that it will sound decent from the outside and will have much more volume inside. As long as you have stock downpipes drone/volume won't get too loud in the cab.

Would you say the sound inside would be to loud to have a conversation while pulling a load? I pull a boat quite often and would love to have an exhaust but don't want one if its too annoying inside the cab

Lol, more like in the area of Shreveport. I'd say towing with a 4" exhaust with no resonator might have a bit of volume. Too much for me I'd say.

My sister lives over there.

It probably would have quite a bit of volume towing especially if very heavy.

Well the options I've narrowed the exhaust down to is the diamond eye 4" and the mbrp 4". The videos CLAIM there is no drone on mbrp but I can't find any info supporting it. I was looking to save a couple of hundred bucks if I got the diamond eye, but perhaps spending the extra will provide better outcome? If anyone can search better than I've tried, I'd like to hear more about the mbrp 4".

I've seen a lot of guys talk about the mbrp 4" resonator. Would it take one of these to get the drone out of either of these exhaust?

If you keep factory downpipes then the mbrp resonator along with a muffler will do fine for drone and sound. I ran that combo for a year. After I did downpipes I added another resonator and I'm content. All of my vids and exhaust combos are on YouTube.
