yeah I read up on it. Even if you change the tube it won't matter until you change the plate plate connecting or allowing flow, thats for any engine. Your engine is already designed for max air intake, unless you are a mechanic and engineer and know how to tinker around.

I will disagree on the value aspect, as it makes the truck sound like a million bucks, and adds everyday, usable torque. As for Airaid vs Rousch.... I went with Rousch because my dealer put in writing that there was no change or void in terms of warranty with the Rousch.

Like mentioned above roush won't affect warranty because its approved by ford which is also why I went with that over airaid. But to answer your question, yes they all pretty much do the same thing. You would never be able to tell the difference between roush or airaid. But if you get airaid make sure you get the dry synthetic filter. Easier to maintain and won't mess with your MAF sensor like an oiled cotton filter.
