With the cold air intake, don't you have to reprogram, for air to fuel ratio?
You only have to reprogram for an intake if you change the diameter of the intake tube. On the 3.7 it isn't possible to swap out the intake tube therefore the diameter stays the same. You can run an aftermarket cone filter with any tune.

There are no air intakes that will replace the stock intake tube with a larger one? Because I am looking for one without the silencers on it

yeah I read up on it. Even if you change the tube it won't matter until you change the plate plate connecting or allowing flow, thats for any engine. Your engine is already designed for max air intake, unless you are a mechanic and engineer and know how to tinker around.

I have had a tuner with exhaust and AIRAID intake. Not really all it's cracked up to be.

No there isn't. Look under the hood and you will see why the tube can't be replaced

Is a tune worth it or should I keep my $400? I don't plan on doing exhaust I like it stock.

I will disagree on the value aspect, as it makes the truck sound like a million bucks, and adds everyday, usable torque. As for Airaid vs Rousch.... I went with Rousch because my dealer put in writing that there was no change or void in terms of warranty with the Rousch.

So is the roush housing and filter worth the money? Or do most of them do the same thing, regardless of the name?

Like mentioned above roush won't affect warranty because its approved by ford which is also why I went with that over airaid. But to answer your question, yes they all pretty much do the same thing. You would never be able to tell the difference between roush or airaid. But if you get airaid make sure you get the dry synthetic filter. Easier to maintain and won't mess with your MAF sensor like an oiled cotton filter.
