Not the most important topic but…
I’ve been installing front and rear WeatherTech mudflaps and the packages come with black stickers and clear stickers to cushion the mudflaps from the paint.

I cleaned the area with scrub sponge, soapy water, alcohol, then soapy water and the stickers. Supposed to use 3:1 soapy water as a slip solution. 24hrs later the stickers seem like they are really stuck on, but will peel, pop, come off with almost no effort. I have no idea if they will stay on under the mudflaps.

is there something I’m missing?

I finished putting on… gonna rain tomorrow so I can hopefully have a mud-spray improvement on a black truck.

Will see about the stickers. Or not.
