Im pretty sure it is legal.. some BMWs have pretty dark, blacked-out tailights, and at night your brake lights are pretty bright anyway. .

Just wondering about the sanding after the clear coat........what does that do and what grit!!!!

i did mine like a month ago..the only thing i did diferent is i baked mine in the oven after i cleared them...it makes the tint and clear bond alot stronger..and it cures the clear alot better than just letting it air dry..

Helps remove any orange peel but if I did it again I would skip that step.

Good, ya, i was a bit sceptic on doing that....I finished doing mine last night, kinda wish i didnt put it on so dark....little hard to see the lights in the day light, but its an easy fix....been looking at getting a light bar that goes between the bumper and the bottom of the tail gate

and its amazing your still in business....with a shameless plug...

sorry guys tried to do business with this guy a while back and is a crappy customer service guy, so much that i was concerned if i had an issue id ever hear from him again, not bitter, just warning to anyone who may choose to reply to this plug and try to get tails

Yeah tinting taillights is easy. Also using automotive clear is not hard either. I did mine on my truck with the Nite Shades and clear, but when I fix the tailgate I will be tinting mine with automotive clear.

ask around in any bodyshop and see how much they charge u to do a set of tailights.. and then come to me and see the difference in prices
