Are those the same as the ones I have right now or I have Ford spark plugs originally? They are made from 2 pieces, thats why there are so many problems with them braking. I know Ford is using Motorcraft oil when I go for oil changes...

Motorcraft is like Ford's line of Oem replacement, and is what your truck came with from the factory.

That's what I'm afraid of. There's a problem with those spark plugs in my truck 2005. They braking when you want take them out. Motorcraft- thank you. Maybe other brands please...

I have a 2005 F150 and a 2010. I changed the plugs in my 2005 at just over 100,000. I followed the TSB very carefully and did not break any plugs off. Take your time and work with a slightly warm motor. After you complete one bank, start the truck to slightly warm the second bank. As for plugs, stick with Motorcraft. I recall reading about those who went with Champion and other brands and had troubles with rough idle, etc. They ended up having to do a second change back to Motorcraft. I also believe Motorcraft improved the design of the plug (after I changed mine). So, stay with the Motorcraft and most importantly, follow the recommended change procedures to the letter. Have a plan in place if you break one or more plugs too!

Last year I purchase the new Bosch Iridium spark plugs for my truck and I immediately noticed a significant improvement in the running of the truck. It was extremely smooth to the point I could hardly tell the engine was running. My truck still runs great. I have been kicking around his planet for a long time and I am constantly amazed at the improvements made in products over the years. I still remember the days when you had to change plugs every 12,000 miles. If you stick to the old stuff you will miss out on opportunities to experience new, better and improved products. These plugs are an example of such improvements.

Use OEM motercraft plugs and use an anti seize on the plug body when you install and your good for another 100 k. These engines don't like after mkt plugs

Thank you. I will stay with Motorcraft then. Any good place to buy those? And when you should change spark plugs really? 100.000 mil is the norm or sooner?
