Default Regearing the 5.4 3v

Hey all, my truck has the 5.4 3v, 4R75E tranny, 3:73 LS gearing. I have 35 inch tires on my truck and a 2.5 inch lift. I do a lot of stop and go driving but I also get out on the interstate a good bit. My truck shifts a lot in overdrive and yes I know I can just ride around at lower speeds with overdrive off. But when I'm going 70-75 on the interstate up a hill the truck struggles. I'm in Tennessee so I deal with a good bit of steep hills. Ive been looking around at regearing and I've come to the conclusion to either go with 4:10s or 4:56 gears. I just was wondering if anyone had any insight to which would be better in my situation. Also, if I regearing would I have to put in a higher stall converter or something like that? I've heard mixed reviews. Anyways, thanks y'all. I appreciate it.

Use the gear ratio calculator to help you. 4.30 maybe more what you want 4.10 should get you about back to stock, but 4.56 may be more than what you want for the highway.

I have always used Ford Racing gears, but that's only buying 1 at a time. And, you need 2. I know Summit has some deals on 4x4 sets. Hopefully some of the 4x4 guys will chime in and give you a better idea than me.

Hopefully, would you happen to know how I'd figure out what rear end my truck is axle wise? Like 8.8 9.25 ECT ECT. I'm still new to all this regearing and axles and stuff.

8.8 in the front axle and 9.75 in the rear. And the gear ratio has to be the same in the front and rear eventhough they are different sizes.
