Dee Zee DZ97909 tailgate assist complaint
So I recently purchased a Dee Zee tailgate assist for my brand new 2018 F150. I never had any problems shutting my tailgate, it closed smoothly with no resistance. After installing the tailgate I now have to slam my door shut and it doesn’t close as effortlessly. I noticed The tailgate cord bends against the Dee Zee. Anyone else experience this problem?

And the best thing about the Ford OEM assist is that it is invisible! Best price WAS from CJ parts, so I ordered a F-150 key FOB to get my parts over $50 for free shipping. It was around $42 or so when I ordered mine in February. All other prices I have seen are in the high 50's.
