Hawkester, it's really easy, I did mine while they were still on the truck. Fronts a bit harder to get at, but it's doable.

Looking to order then in the next day or 2, I live in MN so the salt is obviously an issue. What do you guys think of spraying the adjuster area with fluid film?

I'm not familiar with "fluid film", but I'm pretty sure if you pull the ***** off and grease behind them as shown in the video I posted, you'll be fine.

Finally got mine greased and installed and unlike my '04 it left the rear rake at 1/2" which is what I want. I like the ride with these and for the price compared to others they are good for me, in time I will add the rears.
On a side note Ford did change up the lower mount design in 2014...for some reason when you look up Rancho Quick Lifts for 2014 all I was able to find is '09-'13 and '15-'18...Rancho for some reason, even on their web page, did not list a model for the '14. I called customer service and they confirmed the '15-'18 would fit. When I told him it might be helpful to update their page, he was like, ya whatever..anyway....

I had Rancho QL on my 2012 and thought it was fine , to some degree. I felt it was on the stiff side and poor stability (some wobble) for driving on and off road. However, I would not get them again. I would get either Fox or King. In this case, you really get what you paid for.

For a guy doing zero off roading at all would you say they’re fine? I have debated going after the fox ones, but I think for $400 vs $800+ I’ll give the ranchos a shot.
