Rancho quicklift vs others?

Hey guys,
I just picked up a 2018 XLT 4wd sport with 3.5 eco and 3.55. Been looking for quite some time, in the market for a leveling kit (coil over preferred), I have looked at the Fox 2.0, Bilstein 5100, and Rancho quick lift. I do absolutely zero off roading, and I don't want some crazy firm ride, but I want something that won't ruin my brand new truck. I'm willing to spend the money, but if the Rancho is perfectly fine and not a POS product, maybe that is the route to go. Anyone had the quicklift for a while with any input? It is the cheaper option but I like that it has the lifetime warranty.

Just need some input as I had spacers on my 05 FX4 and it basically ruined my front end (UCA's, Joints, 4wd seals, etc)

Let me know what you guys think

I've had the Rancho QuickLift Loaded on my truck for about 4 years, haven't had any issues. It's only a 2" level, so the angles on my various suspension components aren't bad. I like the fact that I can adjust the ride quality of my shocks. I'm sure there are better and worse options out there, this one works just fine for me.

Asell,

Did you end up going with the quicklift, if so how do you like them?

The problem with Quicklift is you have no control on the amount of lift. Lift amount varies anywhere between 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 inches

This is true, When I did my '04 it raised the front end a little over 2", with a topper on the truck and when I pulled the trailer I had a slight front high rake. I added a 1" taller block in the rear to bring in a slight rake when unloaded.

Installed the QL's in 2010 and they are still on the truck. The only issue I had was from salt and winter corrosion freezing the ride quality adjusting nut, keep the ride quality adjusting knobs lubricated and turn them from time to time and you'll be okay.

I just ordered mine for my NTM 2014....

I don't have too much freeze and salt but I will be driving on the beach. Do you just use WD-40?

With regards to the adjustment knobs getting tight due to corrosion and age, I used some water proof grease, they move much better now.

Thanks Sparky, on my first set that froze, I was unsure what would happen if I pulled that plate off, I envisioned a needle type valve that would release all the fluid if I broke it or pulled the plate off so i just left them.
I will try this when I do the set on my new truck.
