Programmer traceablility
Tomorrow I will let you guys know if the dealer can truly prove you've had a programmer installed before! (my dealer anyways..) I have an edge evolution and as of tomorrow it might even be for sale! Its given me too much of a head ache. I now have a check engine light with a P0605 which I cannot get to go away. My rear window defrost also doesn't work. They replaced the button in my dash and still doesn't work so they think the PCM needs to be replaced to fix the rear defrost, and my luck would have it that they will see that my PCM has been programmed in the past and probably void all warranty. But I have also tried to trick the dealer by requesting a re flash last week, the day I got my check engine light (about a day after I returned programmer to stock and removed it) and I cleared the light right before they took the truck in to re-flash it, so it appeared to them that my truck got the check engine light after they re-flashed it. So anyways they said they're going to check if any performance mods were ever done to the PCM tomorrow and I will hear back from them. Wish me luck! I sure hope the service rep was just bluffing..

Don't make the Dealership hate U. LOL If they wanted to get U they would have found it at the re-flash.

haha.. we're practically family now! My truck has been there every single weekend for the past month and now it gets to spend all of this week there too! and probably still get absolutely ZERO accomplished. If there is one thing I have learned.. NEVER waste a dime on stupid extended warranty, and I never will again. If you want something done right do it yourself.

Still waiting to hear from the dealer.. not even sure if they are going to end up checking the PCM now cause I heard the mechanic sayings something about they screwed up installing the dash module.. and it may not have anything to do with the PCM
