It went pretty well, with only one injury, (kicked the drill bit, (in the drill)) so other than pretty bad cut on my foot, the install was a sucess.

Took me about 2.5 hours, but I wasn't really in any rush, so could have been considerably less time if needed I think.

Love the way it looks!

Will be showing it off today at lunch.

Thanks Heath for making a great cover!
It takes talent to give blood and install your Peragon truck bed cover at the same time!

Thank you for the positive review!

Installed my cover this week on an eight foot bed. Roger at Paragon was very helpful when I fielded a couple questions. Two tips in case they are useful to others:

1) With my eight foot bed, there are three brackets on each side to support the rails. I figured how many washers I needed to level the end brackets, tightened everything down and then measured how many washers I needed for the middle brackets. I ended up adding one additional washer to each of the middle brackets to avoid a slight dip in the rails when the middle bracket was tightened down.

2) To get the correct spacing at the tailgate, I notched a 2x4 to match the length of the front cross rail and then used that to set the distance between the long rails at the tailgate - see attached photo. Note, I used the 2x4 to set spacing before mounting the folding panels, the photo was taken after the panels were installed...

Everything looks super aligned and operates smoothly. My hat is off to Paragon for engineering and building a finally machined product.

- Rick

Default Another satisfied customer

Thanks Peragon!

Installed at home in the drive way and everything went fine.

Everybody I show the top to can't believe how well it works and looks. It's sturdy, light weight, secure, simple, and affordable! Customer service was readily available, courteous, and helpfull. It's been a long time since I've had the pleasure of dealing with a company so well rounded! There just isn't a better combination of attributes to be had out there in the business world today!

THANKS PERAGON

We don't plan to do another group buy, but if you mention this forum and your member name when ordering, we are offering a special deal for f150forum members.

I know I'm a little later than I said, but I gave my word I was buying a peragon and I just did. I'll post later once I receive it and install. Now the hardest part begins, the waiting.
