Default Monroe quick strut.

Does anybody have experience with these struts? Monroe seems to be a good named brand of struts, but I am wondering why these cost less than others, as that leads me to believe that they are inferior in some way.

Any comments, good or bad, about these struts would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

They are meh. They will get the job done but don't expect any huge improvements. With that said, they will be a noticeable difference if yours are junk.

You can buy them cheap on Ebay or RockAuto. Just make sure you are getting a true Monroe and not a knock off.

They are on Amazon right now for $127. I am not happy with the ride quality of my truck so far, so I cannot imagine that the quick struts would not be an improvement. I have 120,000 miles on my stock struts, so it should be a better ride with the quick struts, correct?

Also, should I wait a while before putting a level on top of the new struts? I have read that the front of the truck will be riding higher with the new struts.

Leveling kits are hard on numerous things. Won't matter.

As in it does not matter what strut I use if I install a 2" level?
