Again sorry for the screw up.
I think your good, cause this programmer is like a piece of chocolate cake to a fat kid... HEAVEN. Man I don't know it I even wanna change the tire size cause it works amazingly! So far just averaging the MPG it is at 12.3 and still going up. Before I was at 9.9. Also before, my truck was shifting as slow as a dump truck going up a hill and now it shifts like a beamer. No lie this is the greatest thing I have every spent money on. . . besides my truck . Thanks again for the help!

Run a full tank through, and figure out your mileage by hand. The Edge MPG's aren't very accurate.

Wiait until you bump up the shift points. You'll really love it then.

Very easy to install. If your not a mechanic, like me, its surprisingly simple! All you gotta do is take it out of the box , put the wire though the pod, put the pod in place/ stick the pod to the spot by the window, then connect the wire to the programmer, hide the wire (where you choose) and connect it to the outlet under steering wheel, then program your truck. Yes I know I said it was simple and then I went ahead and wrote a paragraph, but seriously its easy and a DREAM. Total from 4wheelparts.com was $399.54, only cause sales tax for Oklahoma was $31.36! (obama sucks). Before tax it was around $359.99 and I got the 2 day air shipping which was $8.19 (cheaper than the 3 day ground?). Trust me it's worth every penny!

Yeah, I'm not betting on anything yet. I'm still gonna check my MPG at the gas station. But what are these so called "shift points?"

Not sure about the 04, but going off of the custom menu for my 2001.

Set the max RPM's at 5,200
Set the 1-2 shift point at 4,800 (must be at least 400 rpm below maximum rpm)
Set the 2-3 shift point at 4,800
Set the 3-4 shift lower,at about 4,600

Find the setting for a part throttle shift points (something like that).
Bump them up for the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.
Leave the 3-4 alone.

I like my shift firmness at +8 for the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.(personal preference)
Leave 3-4 alone.

If you are running higher octane than called for, you can bump the timing up 1/2 or 1 point.(read this section in the manual first).

Make sure to set your tire size, and gear ratio.

Make sure to hit "save settings when finished"

If you don't like them, just redo it and it will be back to the factory settings.

With these settings on the #2 tune, you'll enjoy it so much, you'll only get 6 MPG.

That's the one thing I miss about my Evolution. My Evo CS doesn't allow you to adjust the wide open shift points like the old Evo did.

It will still give me enough to really wake up the shifting though.Without it my transmission is a turdbox.

I mostly run the #1 transmission only tune. With the custom shift settings, it does everything I want to do, and still runs fine on 87 octane.
Every once in awhile, I'll run a tank of 93 through it on the #3 tune.

Actually it has to be below 150rpms

I set rev limit at 5400 and shift points at 5200 except for 3-4 at 5k
