Default high flow cats

i want some high flow cats to make my exhaust louder( i have true duels with flowmaster 40 series mufflers) want i wanted to know was what is the onlet outlet diameter i need and also what brands would you reccomend and also which would be best??? thanks all

Check out the F150 exhaust thread stickied over on F150Online. Most prefer the Magnaflow high flow universal cats.

Do a search and you'll find 2.5" is the diameter and Magnaflow 94106 or 94136 is the cats used most often.

Magnaflow 54306

has anyone used or heard or used? i know everyone uses the magnaflow 9 series one yet this one says high flow and the other doesnt.. id like to know because one of mine is clogged now due to an injector being stuck open..

The 54306 is too small of diameter and tends to go bad when exposed to the heat a larger displacement motor will make. There really is no "high flow" converter vs. a normal converter anyways, they all flow well enough to not be a restriction. Plus 9 series are cheaper.

is says 2.5 inch inlet and outlet or am i missing something??

Look at the casing size and area of actual catalytic function. Inlet/outlet diameters don't mean anything.

need some clarification.. how come i keep reading tha everyone has a pre cat then the reg cat... i only have 1 cat per bank...
