Fitting 4 or 6 Piston Calipers to a 2013 FX4
Hello All,
I was just curious if anyone has done any research on the Caliper Mounting spacing from a newer year 2013+ F150 FX4?
Searching the web and ebay you can find many big brake kits that came standard on trucks like the 2010+ Tundra that are fairly cheap on Ebay $400.00.
It would awesome if Tundra Calipers could be mounted to the FX4 with little modification such as a bracket or spacer.
I have even seen older Audi's with 6 Piston Calipers on Ebay for around $600.

Welcome to the forum.
Simply don't see why you would want to put those on an F150.
Plenty of talk here on upgrading brakes if you wanted- have a look around.
And remember- sometimes you get what you pay for...

This was a good video to show the differences in the way the 2 piston (ford) setup work as opposed to the more refined 4 Piston (tundra) caliper works. May look into fabricating some brackets and trying a set of front calipers out from a Tundra. Fairly inexpensive for either calipers $116 on ebay for 1 (each)
See the difference.
