Dude get an SCT Xcalibrator 2. It is easy to use, I made 16 more horsepower and 38 more torque with a good dyno tune on it. WELL worth it. It will datalog, you have alot of diffrent user setting inside the base tunes. You can have 3 tunes in it. Power, economy and hauling. If thats how you want it set up. Its re-programmable so if you get another ford you can have the programmer re-flashed for it. If anyone is in the Tallahassee area we have a dyno set up. I highly reccommend getting an Excal.

I was gonna say you should buy one real soon, because of price's going up I believe around 100 bucks. But now I see that you are ordering tmrw. so you should be just fine

Those are the key words. I can promise you unless you dyno tune your truck they CANNOT give you a mail order tune on a 4.6 and gain that much. We had a Ford engine designer in the shop yesterday and he was impressed with the 16 hp gain with no other mods. Do what you want. The seat -o - pants dyno will lie to you every time.

Evolution Specs for Ford V8 Triton

3 Separate Performance Programs
Adjusts Speed & Rev Limited
Up to an additional 12% Horsepower Gains
Up to an additional 15 foot lbs of Torque
Improves throttle response
Adjusts for tire size and gear ratio
Displays & Clears Trouble Codes
Displays 0-60 and Quarter Mile Times
10 minute installation with no tools required

I gained more than that at the Flywheel. The numbers I posted were Wheel HP numbers. Did the Edge tuner finally fix the transmission problems they were causing. Since they couldnt control the shift pressure in the transmissions?

yeah whell i dont care!!! haha and i know that thats just like they say exhaust CAN give you 16hp but in all actuality its more like 5-12 depending on engine and tube size and what not, im not expecting to get 35hp and 50 tq out of the box if i was thinking that then i would have to be a complete dumb ***** and that i am not... well at least not a complete one! haha but its capable of that and who knows i just might have a guy that knows what hes doing and i might have acces to a dyno so i just might achive all of that
i have no idea about the xcal2 so far your the only person that i have talked to that had one ive heard all sorts of good things about edge and what it can do... and who knows if i dont like therer is always a return policy!

the only problem was in stage 3 and im not buying for stage 3 im buying it for stage 2 which is preformance. i belive that stage3 is for towing sinnce the only problem i have heard of is the tq converter locking and unlocking at 40-60and light peadal
www.f150forum.com/showthread.php?t=395&page=6
and if i can just take a glance at the left side of my truck and c my tuner and some stats then im happy and
so if you gained more than that at the flywheel then what are you putting down to the ground???
O and the edge does a lot more that that...

Not just the best, but the best looking programmer now available. Simple to install, this ultra-modern device is designed from the ground up to compliment your truck. The Evolution Programmer delivers substantial power gains, provides display technology and is shipped with a custom pod to look factory installed.

When used in its programmer mode, the Edge Evolutions provides 3 power levels (transmission only, tow and performance) designed to extract the most performance from the fuel you are using. With gains up to 35 HP and 50 ft. lbs. of torque, you will feel like you put a new engine in your truck.

The Evolution also provides a special mileage tune designed to extract maximum performance from low-octane fuel. Going from one power level to another has never been easier - the Evolution programs in under 20 seconds. You can also calibrate for different tire sizes and gear rations, and change speed and rev limiters. When used as a scan tool, the Edge Evolution allows the user to check and clear diagnostic trouble codes with simple, clear text descriptions of the error.

Your Evolution monitor allows you to monitor the performance of your engine’s vital engine components and output values. The following parameters can be displayed on the main Evolution screen (maximum 4 at one time):
