Default Dust proof storage boxes?

Hi - gearing up to try some mild overlanding in New Mexico.

When I go truck camping, the storage boxes (mostly no-name WalMart, but including Rubbermaid) I put in my truck bed under a tonneau cover (but neither it nor the bed are sealed) tend to get fine dust in them (and the bed tends to get a dust accumulation as well). Dust tends to be a bigger issue than rain here.

Any recommendations for a brands or types of boxes that would work better? It would be great, but not essential, if they came in a variety of sizes, were space efficient (vertical sides, close packing), and were cheap.

Maybe plastic ammo boxes like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CNP4HOY/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2XKZHNV4ZGPKJ&colid=2NVP1A4 3Q8HCS would be good?

Anything without a seal is going to end up being infiltrated, that's the way of things. If you want to really keep dust out you need Pelican or Pelican-style boxes that have an inner rubber seal.

I suppose you could get some cheaper boxes and add your own weather sealing to them, just make sure when you attach the seal you're using an aggressive bonding agent otherwise it might not hold up (due to heat and moisture).

Personally I like my SeaHorse SE920 boxes.
