Default drop/alignment help

Can someone please explain to me how going from the djm 5" drop to the 4" drop threw off the front end alignment so bad that now the steering wheel is cocked to the source when I'm driving straight? All I did was change the lifting shackle back to factory on the rear of the leaf and install the lifting hanger On the front of Leaf. Now my steering wheel isn't straight any more. Had the truck aligned after I put the 3/5 drop on it and it was aligned perfectly. Any thoughts?

Sounds like your rear axle has shifted off center, you will need to have a thrust angle alignment performed to correct it. A centerline alignment will do no good.

Ever see a vehicle driving down the road that looked like the *** end was trying to catch up to the front, some call it "dog legging" it's because they had a centerline alignment performed and either the frame was bent (wreck) or the rear axle was off center.
