My stock intake is 8-10 degrees cooler than ambient...

So you're really sure you want an aftermarket intake...

2002 Ford F-150 5.4 4x4 Screw, i have installed an Airraid CAI. Felt a little difference in the butt dyno. Nice CAI for the price.

Default Anyone with 2010 5.4 & AEM Brute force intake

I have been lookin around and don't see that AEM has made an intake for 2010 models. Will the 2008 AEM brute force intake work with a 2010. I youtubed some videos with this intake and it sounds amazing. Claims 19hp gains. And 7-10% improvement in fuel economy.

First, those numbers are not realistic for our trucks, maybe, MAYBE on some other vehicles, but sadly, its not that easy on the F150. Also, the 2008 models will not fit the 2009+, in 2009, they moved the airbox closer to the fenderwell...i'm sure you could get it to work if you REALLY wanted to, but what you gain by putting it on vs time and hassle of forcing it to fit isn't worth it IMO. If you really want it, wait till they come out with the 2009+ model or go with another company that does have one.

I'm the only vote with the gotts/dwv mod? lol

I'm off to wal-mart to get an air-hog. Or at least check the price. Amazon has them for under 10 bucks. That doesn't include shipping. If it's $15 or less I'll get it.
