How long have you had it installed? I have the S type on my V8 and at first it was super quiet, as I've driven it, it has settled into a very nice sound that's noticeable at all driving speeds. No drone still but you can hear it.

the S Type on a V8 will be quiet if you never go above 3000 rpms .. if you get on it.. you will hear it

@ 1st mine was but after a few hwy speed drives it woke up. The only time I can't hear it much is at hot idle. The rest of the time you most definitely notice it more than stock.

i would assume a lot of people are living below 4000 rpms and what they are expecting to hear is either drone .. or they think its going to sound like a v8 challenger at idle

Drone most likely, the Magnaflow system I had was like that. The Borla is nothing but music to the ears if you're a gear head like I am. I'm not sure what rpm I was at when I went half throttle in this vid clip but it's a good representation of the sound.

The only down side is that its getting really hard to sale the midpipe from the s-type so i can recover some money..its pretty much brand new and uses too much storage space 🙌🏽Let me know if some one wants the mid pipe.
Do you still have that midpipe? i just order the atak and if its 2 loud for the wife. I will have to swap it. Email/pm me
