Default Best Tuner for 2005 F-150 5.4

Hey guys, I'm looking for a tuner/programmer that will most importantly give me better MPG, but also I want to have the power increase when I want it. I would appreciate your opinions and suggestions.

Thanks

I hear the best for 04-08 models is edge evo cs or cts or the custom tuned version of edge called gryphon from power hungry performance I believe. U could do mikes 5 star tuning but I see more 09-12s do that and hardly any 04-08s. Also superchips flashpaq is pretty good

I just got the edge evolution. It has four modes 0-3, I'm currently running mode 1 which is no hp gain, but helps transmission shift and also I was able to enter my tire size. The second and third mode go up in hp topping at 35 hp, you can also enter in other custom options to increase performance but I havnt messed with those yet.

... Wouldn't allow me to edit my post. In terms of best it isn't, more low end but it gets the jobs done. Like he mention the cs and cts are more of their high model. The cts you can buy a lic plate rear view camera and add it to your programmer display.

Custom tuned will give you the best power and the best chance at a MPG gain. MPG gains depend on several factors, so don't expect to buy a programmer and MPGs to automatically go up. Custom tuning will also allow you to run the octane and type of tune you want. The Gryphon from PHP, SCT X3,SF3, or Livewire from PHP, Troyer, 5star, or VMP, and the Diablo Predator are all good custom capable devices.
