Last year I had Bestbuy install a viper remote start that has the key fob which controls the door locks as well. I believe it was less than $400 when all said and done. It works really well and actually has pretty good range on the remote.

The only thing better about the ford one for the new trucks and some cars is there plug in they don't butcher up the wiring in the truck fixed so many aftermarket installs for doors and windows not working no start concerns just personal preference I would pay the extra they also come with new keys so you don't have an extra remote hanging off the keys

They are only plug and play for 2011 and up, the 2010 like the OP has needs splicing of wires still.

It's no big deal if the installer does clean splices. That's my main concern so I'm going to install one myself. I'm looking at the Viper 5704 with tilt and window control modules.
