Howdy folks, I'm new here and a proud owner of a new 2017 Lariat FX4 which has that big front chrome grille. I really like the look of the Raptor type grilles in black billet and was curious if there are any options out there for this type of grill? My other thought is to maybe have all the chrome up front turned to black chrome.

 

Stage3 sells a Raptor clone grille. I have no idea how one is supposed to make FORD out of DODD though. I only know this because I've seen it so many times that I now associate Raptor grille ==> Stage3. EDIT: apparently Ford is real **** about their logo so DODD is what you have to settle for...lol



I mean, there are a lot of grille styles out there, with a billion just on their site and TDot alone, but I don't know if it'll go well with your Ruby Red paint and the rest of the shiny chrome bumpers...

Personally I plan on putting Hammerhead low profile bumpers on and then getting a matte black grille to match, as nothing would look out of place then. The Raptor grille might work better if you had the Sport package with body-colour bumpers.

 

I understand you can get the letters "F" and "R" to fix the DODD problem but you may be right about matching it up with the chrome package. I may have to look into having it all black chromed along with all the other shiny stuff. Was just never a big fan of Chrome and only took this truck because of the deal and the truck color.

Paint it that gorgeous Ruby Red. (Like Ford SHOULD have and does now for 2018)

 

I bought this one off amazon and painted it myself.. I didnt want the typical Raptor "FORD" front, so I went with the more retro Raptor look... ('17 XLT Sport 4x4)

 

That really turned out great!!

 

I really like that one Jbrast! That would look killer on my Magnetic Sport!!

 

I actually wanted the Magnetic but the dealer couldnt find one with a V8 so I went with my second choice..
