Default Favorite mud flaps?

I just bought a 2018 Limited. Love it. But the roads are being black topped and tar is getting everywhere. Plus with winter and rock salt, having flaps is a must. What would you guys recommend? OEM Ford molded, Husky, other?

Keep in mind the "quick turn fastener" that Weathertechs are known for is made out of steel, (stainless?) I believe. I'm not sure, because I haven't installed a set yet, but I believe this fastener grabs onto and bites onto the inner fender, which is aluminum. Aluminum against steel is not good, especially down in the muck with rain, salt, mud, snow, etc. Premature corrosion comes to mind. I did notice the kit comes with a couple of aluminum washers. That says that Weathertech at least knows of this corrosion potential.

Unless Weathertech has revised their kits and added more specialized hardware for us aluminum chassis Ford owners?

It might be worth an email to Weathertech, and even to Husky for that matter. I like both brands for mudflaps. Hmm...

so why not go with the OEM mud flaps? They're nearly the same price and are designed by the Mfg. for the specific application.

The weather tech 1/4 turn fasterner has a plastic coating on the part that touches the aluminum so it should not be an issue
