Merf, I to am running into communication problems with sundaybuy. I'm having issues with the back up camera not working and the canbus decoder. The canbus decoder has something going on internally and will not shut the radio off and kills by battery. I'm trying to see if sundaybuy will send me a new decoder. I have gotten no responses through email. I pm'd sundaybuy and got a response but no resolution to the problem. And that was over a week ago I'm regretting my purchase and should have went the Kenwood route.
About the problem you said of "The canbus decoder has something going on internally and will not shut the radio off and kills by battery.", the canbus box doesn't have problem, this is a special function for this Ford stereo, when you switch car off, the stereo will still work for a few minutes then it will shut off later.
This new function is delay turn off function for this S100 stereo.
In setting menu, you can change "delay Shutdown" to 5 minutes. Cause i cannot send photo in this place, if you want you can contact me via vigosales2@hotmail.com

this is not the problem of canbus box, this is a new function for this Ford stereo. It is dellay shutdown function.
if you don't want this function, you can go to setup menu, change the "Delay Shutdown" to 5 minutes.
Then when you switch off your car, it will turn off after 5 minutes.
