This wait sucks

 

From a logic standpoint it seems that certain packages/options would be scheduled in a batch. Supply chain management is a fairly complex scenario but if the parts are available for certain builds then they will get built first. They don't have the room in the factory to store up too many special parts, so the scheduling and shipping and overall logistics comes into play.

 

TFL just posted a raptor video and was told that journalists will have to wait until December to drive the truck. Sounds like you will be waiting awhile.

 

I did not order mine until August 17th. It has not moved. In fact, Ford Service told me they could no longer find it despite having the dealer code and order number. This is a VOC, nothing more. My dealer says they still show it in their system. I wish Ford Service would call my dealer and iron this out, but neither will do it. I am glad someone's order is moving.

 

I think I would make a trip to the dealer and ask to see the order on the Ford site. Because the dealer and Ford service should have the same info available.

 

I got my window sticker today and supposed to be built 10/12!!!

Scrappy - Did you see any status change as a result of your build date passing? Any disposition ETA listed yet?

 

I haven't checked back yet. It has to get liner sprayed in yet so I'm not sure how long that will take. I'll check back Friday or Monday.
