Got the borla exhaust installed today, went on easy no problems, looks great and sounds great!

 

Love Borla. I had duals on my old 2002 silverado. When the time comes for exhaust on my 5.0. It will be Borla. Yea its expensive. but the quality is 2nd to none.

Ive got a Borla kit on my truck, everything else is just an imitation I scored my kit on amazon for $480 with free shipping. Compared to what some of the other shopsi n town quoted me, I got a fairly good deal.

 

Which muffler did it have? and was it for the 5.0?

 

i have an '07 3V.

I wonder if this same kit for the 6.2 will fit the 5.0? i really like the dual exit tips on one side.

 

really i think borla's crap. my friend got a dual kit for a 06 chev 1500 and the pipe they use is weak, both hangers ripped outa the pipes and at my work ive seen several where the mufflers come apart chincy like flow pro

 

thats wierd, i had borla on my last truck and it lasted many many cold,salty nasty winters and never had any hangers break off. no rust either the pipes looked brand new
