Default catalytic converters

Hi from Angola

Iīve a 2011 supercrew 6.2 raptor with yellow engine light on. Official dealer says itīs catalytic converters and each one costs 2500usd also also have to get 4 new exhaust sensors. Itīs almost 8000usd quote...here we donīt have that legal issues. So, is any way to turn that yellow engine light off ?
Sorry my english and thanks in advance

If you don't have access to a Code Reader that you can use yourself, I'd try to find one and run the codes and then look them up on the Internet to see what is the root of the Check Engine Light.
How many miles are on the truck?

Hopefully someone who has experienced a similar problem will post what they did.

Good luck!

Yeah, get a reader, then you’ll know for sure. Blue driver is great app on your phone

you can look at codes and read in the app what others have done to fix the codes. And clear them if needed to see if they crop up again. Has decent PID ability to to see what your engine is doing

Hi friends

I already received my BLUEDRIVER OBD READER...has i guessed the errors are P0430( CATALYST SYSTEM EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD BANK 2) and P0420( CATALYST SYSTEM EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD BANK 1) and P2272( O2 SENSOR SIGNAL BIASED/STUCK LEAN BANK 2 SENSOR 2). I can clear this codes with BLUEDRIVER and yellow engine light will goes off but some miles ahead it will comes on again. How can i erase definitely this error ? Here in Angola we, fortunately, still donīt have tecnical examinations and catalytic converters are very expansive so i donīt want to put new ones...
Iīll apreciate some help!!

your only options then is find a tuning company that will write you a tune that can 'wipe out' the downstream o2s(good luck), use some kind of simulators, or put cats in it.

Yeah, it’s getting harder to find ones to tune an emissions deleted truck. Gov has cracked down hard here in the states.

is there an off road (Baja type) shop anywhere? Or. Start reaching out to ones in the state. You can see if you can gut the cats and see if there is a way to turn off the sensors.
