Default Buy now or wait for the V8

I went from a 2014 raptor to a 2017 loaded lariat. Loved the gas milage, but miss having my dream truck no matter what mpg it gets. The question at this point is do i get into an 18 or hold out for 2021 and get one of the new 20 model 7.0L v8s?

I know what you gonna say. get them both.... Might be a good idea

I dont own a Raptor and I really love my 3.5 EB but if I was to buy a Raptor I would definitely want that bad *** growl to go along with the looks and the performance of it. No offense to anyone here but the 3.5 sounds like poo in the current gen Raptor. I say wait.

You are dreaming if you think a V8 is coming. Plus the new V8 for the Super Duty is a 7.3L.

Ford's sort of answer is the F-250 Tremor, with the new v8 gasser. I am skeptical that we will ever see a V8 in a f150 Raptor again.....from the factory.

I said I would never own a v6 truck, but daggone, this thing scoots, rides good, looks good, the only ones who hate them are the ones that don't have the coin. No dicounts, no PCO, no rebates, they hit you with the raptor tax out of the gate.

Well I had one ready to go at the right price and he right trade and then I looked and saw the dreaded 801a. Stopped me dead in my tracks. Not gonna pay that much and lose what I have in my lariat. 802a or no go.

Drive the 3.5eb and compare to the old 6.2 and you'll want the ecoboost every single time.

the performance measures that matter: power, torque, acceleration

If you're busy listening to the exhaust note, you ain't busy enough tearing it up.
