2018 Raptor?
I assume there will be one but what will happen to the front end (grill/headlights) now with the regular F150 refresh.
Personally, I hope they change the front to differentiate it from the 2017's and use the new headlights. I'd like to see an early rendering/prototype of one. I'm not going to buy a 2017 unless I got a "can't say no" difference figure for my King Ranch in trade. I was comfortable waiting for a 2018 but with the redesign I'm not sure I'd want one that looks "old" in comparison to the 2018 F150.

They might use the large mesh grille - 2018 one, with the letters ford in it. Im sure they will use the same headlights also, maybe blackout treatment. Will have to wait and see. Maybe this fall they will update it. Seems weird only one year with the current raptor. Mine is on order , so im staying with the 2017 for some time.

It's a bit odd because last gen the mid gen updates were minimal, where this time the front end looks a lot different. So you'll be driving a current Raptor, but with the old headlights.

I doubt they will change the front end of the Raptor, so it already has its own look from the regular F150.
It would be like how Ford is not changing the front end of the 2018 Shelby GT350.

.... and, the second engine will be an option... same as the original Raptor release. There was a base 5.4 and optional 6.2

There is another engine choice coming that is an 8 cylinder. The test trucks are out running around with a model year designation sticker and have a distinct 8 cylinder sound. This is coming.
