Oh boy, this better not turn into another "Forum Manners" thread, that one got locked down in a hurry.

I still maintain the Raptor is not a Raptor if it has an Ecoboost, regardless of horsepower output, and I still maintain the GT350 engine is a good substitute.

Better than the Raptor? Better than the Raptor? Are you sure you typed that right? Mega-Raptor maybe? Raptorsaurus Rex?

I maintain that if it had an Ecoboost , I'd still be happy with the one I got, and likely wouldn't buy the EB version, suspension upgrades, way betterness or not.

I'm willing to bet that a V8 option will be available, maybe not immediately, but as a possible up sell motor some time down the line, similar to the 2010s when the 6.2 was optional...

That's actually a true statement, I don't measure my happiness by how much better I perceive my vehicle to be than anybody else's.

More power to them if they smoke me on the dirt and on the street, I'll still be quite happy where I'm at.

I'm not the one who perclaimed the Raptor would be less of a truck with the eco boost. That was you I was simply pointing out ford has plans to make it better,so apparently you do measure more then you let on. Merry Christmas to you and yours

Never said it was less of a truck with the EB, it just wouldn't be the same without the V8.

That's not measuring anything to what anyone else has compared to me, that's an opinion.

I could care less what you, or anyone else, has for that matter.

You make the payments, you can put whatever you want in the driveway, far be it for me to compare or judge, but I'll throw in my two cents.

My two cents buy me the opinion that the Raptor is not a Raptor with the Ecoboost in it, regardless of output or performance.

All the best in the New Year bro !

I'll buy one as long as it's a 5.0 Eco or some other special engine.

An ff the shelf regular f150 motor won't do it for me. Look at the bomb the tremor was.
