well as you have seen on previous post i have a bad belt squeal on my 1993 f 150 and i cant figure it out i took a wire brush and cleaned out all the pulleys i brillo the smooth ones but iuts louder now and it sounds like it coming from the power steering pump its like a squeling sound but i put a belt on it three days ago and it stopped it for about two days any body got any ideas suggestions or past experiences please let me kno

 

More than likely the noise is coming from a bad bearing in one of the idler pulleys. I cant think of any way or reason the noise would be coming from the powersteering .
