Help!
2002 4.6 215k miles. No cel or stored codes. New fuel pump, plugs, boots, springs, injectors, battery and fuel filter.
When trying to start the truck, it will just turn over about 10 seconds before firing up. This only happens when the truck has sat about 2 days. Once I crank it up, it will not do this until it sits a couple days. No smoke or funny noises. I'm completely stumped as to what it might be. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!

There is a test point on your fuel rails for pressure testing, a couple of outfits make direct read fuel pressure meters which mount in this test point, they are designed to be left there. These small direct mounted meters are inexpensive, easy to install and are just the ticket for keeping tabs on your fuel rail pressures. Jeg's and Summit Racing both sell them and they run around $20 dollars each.
It sounds to me like you may have a fuel pressure problem and it takes a few seconds for your fuel pump to bring things up to the reguired pressure. A way to check this is turn on the ignition but do not start the engine listen for the sound of your fuel pump, if it does not start when you switch on there it could be a relay problem, if it runs for an excessive amount to time say more then 5 seconds or so there could be a fuel pressure regulator problem. The fuel regulator, I think, incorporates a check valve that maintains fuel rail pressure for a period of time to help the engine start faster, if this isn't working anymore what you are experiencing is exactly what will happen.

As for the fuel issue I wonder if there should be a sticky for how to check to see how much booze is in your gasoline. It is very simple to do. get a graduated laboratory tall beaker fill it up half way (100 in a beaker graduated to 200) with anti-freeze, then fill it up to the top graduation line with gasoline. The ethanol will be absorbed into the anti-freeze leaving the gasoline floating on top. If you have a this beaker graduated to 200 if the gasoline floating on top shows to be 80 then you know the gasoline had 20% ethanol in it an unless you have a flex fuel vehical your engine will run like crap.

Don't know where you are at for cold weather starts, but your pcv might be worn out or partually plugged. Also check vacuum lines for cracks. Check your plugs on the cam and crank shaft timing sensors. make sure they are clean and tight and a little dialectric is on them to keep corrosion at bay.
