Harmonic Balancer question?

Default Harmonic Balancer question?
Is there any signs when the harmonic balancer is going bad? 83 F150 302 carb. Thanks

With the engine running,do you have a vibration?

Take the belt off the crank pully,if you can move it up/down or side to side its bad. If you see the rubber bulging or cracked, replace it.

When I have the truck in gear the whole truck will shake. Also when I am driving it will sometimes shake as i am going down the road.

What engine and transmission are we talking about. Does it shake only while driving, or will it shake in neutral when you rev the enging?

83 ford f150 302 V8 AOD transmission. The truck truck will at an idle and when the truck is in gear.

Ok,trying to rule out torque converter. Probably is the harmonic balancer.
