Flexplate Question?
I have a 83 F150 with a 302 V8 AOD transmission. Has anyone ever had any problems with a flexplate cracking? I have heard of this problem on chevy motors, But I was wondering if there has been problems with the 302.

All the Same:
Ford flexplates are no more or no less subject to cracking failure than GM flexplates. The main difference is the name of the manufacturer, and in some cases that is the same name for either company. Aftermarket flexplates, for example, can be made by Dorman for all marques.
